Invitation to Artistic Research Spring Forum 2019

The Programme Board have the pleasure of inviting you to the Artistic Research Spring Forum at Klækken hotel March 5th – 6th.
For supervisors, there will be an additional supervisor seminar at Klækken on March 4th.
There is no conference fee, but all participants must register for the forum, and book their own hotel accomodation at Klækken.
Participants are responsible for notifying the hotel about changes in the booking/cancellations.

The deadlinge for registration and hotel booking is FEBRUARY 1ST 2019

The institutions must cover the travel and accommodation expenses for research fellows, supervisors and institutional representatives.
Participation in the forum is mandatory for research fellows in the Fellowship Programme.

OPEN CALL for VIS Issue 2

VIS – Nordic Journal for Artistic Research – opens its call for exposition proposals for Issue 2. The theme is “Estrangement”. The call is open between 1 September and 1 November 2018.

VIS – Nordic Journal for Artistic Research is a new digital journal about Artistic Research in the Nordic region. The journal is the result of a cooperation between Stockholm University of the Arts and Norwegian Artistic Research Programme. The purpose of the journal is to serve as a basic source of knowledge for anyone who wants to learn and immerse themselves in artistic research in the Nordic region. VIS website was released 9 April 2018 together with the first Issue – 0. Issue 1 will be released in January 2019.

Are you a potential peer-reviewer?
VIS is interested in exploring new ideas for the process of peer-review in artistic research. Models that combine rigorous scrutiny of work with a collaborative and developmental process are of particular interest to the Editorial Committee. As a peer reviewer for VIS, you are an expert in your own field and have a solid knowledge of what artistic research means. It is a great advantage if you are experienced with the exposition format in the database Research Catalogue, or have peer-reviewed expositions and articles in experimental and unconventional formats.
