Artistic-Research.no is a blog about art. This site does not require registration and does not collect personal data beyond what is described below.
When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, and message are sent directly to us via Web3Forms. This data is used solely to respond to your enquiry and is not stored in any database, shared with third parties, or used for marketing purposes.
The first time you visit, a banner asks you to choose between Accept all and Decline all. Both choices are equally easy to make, and nothing optional runs until you have chosen — declining is the default state.
We store your cookie choice, and your light/dark theme preference, in your browser’s local storage. This never leaves your device, is not sent to us or to anyone else, and cannot be used to identify you. It is exempt from consent because the site cannot work correctly without it.
If you choose Accept all, we may enable embedded media players (for example video embedded in an article) and anonymous audience statistics that tell us which articles are read. If you choose Decline all, none of these are loaded and the entire site remains fully usable — no feature is withheld, and you are not asked again on every page.
Your choice is remembered for six months, after which we ask again. You can change it at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.
